Know Someone is designed to be accessible to everyone. Here's how to make it work best for you.
Screen reader support
Our platform is compatible with popular screen readers:
- NVDA
- JAWS
- VoiceOver
- TalkBack
We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to ensure content is properly announced.
Keyboard navigation
Use Know Someone entirely without a mouse:
- Tab - Move between elements
- Enter/Space - Activate buttons and links
- Arrow keys - Navigate menus and lists
- Esc - Close dialogs

Visual adjustments
Colour and contrast
- High contrast mode available
- Minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratios
- No colour-only information
Text size
- Works with browser zoom up to 200%
- Respects system text size preferences
- Readable fonts throughout
Motion
- Respects prefers-reduced-motion setting
- Animations can be disabled in settings
Display preferences
Go to Settings > Accessibility to:
- Enable high contrast mode
- Reduce motion
- Increase text size
- Disable keyboard shortcuts
Reporting issues
If you encounter accessibility barriers:
- Go to Help > Report a Problem
- Select Accessibility Issue
- Describe the problem
- We'll prioritise fixing it
