Know Someone is designed to be accessible to everyone. Here's how to make it work best for you.

Screen reader support

Our platform is compatible with popular screen readers:

  • NVDA
  • JAWS
  • VoiceOver
  • TalkBack

We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to ensure content is properly announced.

Keyboard navigation

Use Know Someone entirely without a mouse:

  • Tab - Move between elements
  • Enter/Space - Activate buttons and links
  • Arrow keys - Navigate menus and lists
  • Esc - Close dialogs

Visual adjustments

Colour and contrast

  • High contrast mode available
  • Minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratios
  • No colour-only information

Text size

  • Works with browser zoom up to 200%
  • Respects system text size preferences
  • Readable fonts throughout

Motion

  • Respects prefers-reduced-motion setting
  • Animations can be disabled in settings

Display preferences

Go to Settings > Accessibility to:

  • Enable high contrast mode
  • Reduce motion
  • Increase text size
  • Disable keyboard shortcuts

Reporting issues

If you encounter accessibility barriers:

  1. Go to Help > Report a Problem
  2. Select Accessibility Issue
  3. Describe the problem
  4. We'll prioritise fixing it
