Get real-time alerts on your devices.

Enabling push notifications

Mobile app

1. When prompted, tap Allow
2. Or go to device Settings > Know Someone > Notifications

Web browser

1. When prompted, click Allow
2. Or go to Settings > Notifications > Browser

Push notification types

Choose what triggers a push notification:

High priority (recommended on)

• New message
• Referral hired
• Reward available
• Security alerts

Medium priority

• Referral status updates
• Application updates
• New job matches

Low priority

• Profile views
• Weekly summaries
• Tips and suggestions

Customising alerts

For each notification type, choose:

• Push on - Send push notification
• Push off - Don't send push
• Sound - Play alert sound
• Badge - Show badge on app icon

Quiet hours

Set times when you don't want to be disturbed:

1. Go to Settings > Notifications
2. Enable Quiet Hours
3. Set start and end times
4. Choose which notifications can bypass

Troubleshooting

Not receiving notifications?

• Check device notification settings
• Ensure the app has permission
• Check you're logged in
• Disable battery saver for the app

Too many notifications?

• Review and adjust settings
• Enable daily digest instead
• Use quiet hours
