Connecting your LinkedIn

Link your LinkedIn account to enhance your profile and make referrals easier.

Benefits of connecting

• Import your profile - Automatically fill in your work history
• Find connections - See which contacts might be good referrals
• Build credibility - Show your professional network
• Easy sharing - Share jobs directly to LinkedIn

How to connect

1. Go to Settings > Connections
2. Click Connect LinkedIn
3. Log in to LinkedIn when prompted
4. Authorise Know Someone to access your profile
5. Choose what to import

What we access

With your permission, we can see:

• Your public profile information
• Your connections (names and basic info)
• Your work history

We never:

• Post on your behalf without permission
• Message your connections directly
• Share your data with third parties

Using LinkedIn connections

Once connected, you can:

• Search your connections for potential referrals
• See which jobs match people you know
• Get suggestions based on connection profiles

Disconnecting

You can disconnect anytime:

1. Go to Settings > Connections
2. Click Disconnect next to LinkedIn
3. Confirm the disconnection

Your data remains on Know Someone unless you request deletion.
