Deleting your account

If you need to leave Know Someone, here's how to delete your account.

Before you delete

Consider these alternatives:

• Take a break - You can simply stop using the service
• Reduce emails - Turn off notifications instead
• Contact support - We may be able to help with your concern

What happens when you delete

Immediately:

• You're logged out everywhere
• Your profile becomes inaccessible
• You can't log back in

After 30 days:

• Account permanently deleted
• Personal data erased
• History anonymised

What's kept:

• Transaction records (for legal/tax purposes)
• Anonymised data for analytics

Pending rewards

Important: If you have pending rewards:

1. Withdraw available balance first
2. Wait for pending rewards to clear
3. Then delete your account

Deleting your account may forfeit pending rewards.

How to delete

1. Go to Settings > Account
2. Scroll to Delete Account
3. Click Delete My Account
4. Enter your password
5. Confirm deletion

Changing your mind

Within 30 days, contact support to restore your account. After 30 days, deletion is permanent.

Your data rights

You can also request a data export before deletion. Go to Settings > Privacy > Export My Data.
