What employers see about you

Transparency matters. Here's exactly what employers can see when you make a referral.

When you refer someone

Employers see:

Your profile

  • Name
  • Profile photo
  • Headline/bio
  • Relevant work experience

Referral context

  • How you indicated you know the candidate
  • Any notes you added
  • Your referral history with that employer

What employers can't see

Employers cannot see:

  • Your contact information (unless you share it)
  • Your other referrals to other companies
  • Your reward earnings
  • Your private notes

Your referral statistics

Employers may see aggregated stats like:

  • Number of referrals you've made
  • Your success rate (if high)
  • Time you've been on the platform

This helps build trust in your referrals.

Controlling visibility

In Settings > Privacy, you can:

  • Choose what work experience to show
  • Show or hide your photo
  • Control bio visibility
  • Limit referral statistics

Why share anything?

Employers value knowing who's referring candidates:

  • Industry insiders make better matches
  • Professional referrers are trusted more
  • Context helps evaluate candidates

A complete profile leads to more successful referrals.
